Muscular pain and stiffness

Increases circulation and disperses lactic acid

1 drop eucalyptus oil
1 drop lavendar oil
2 drops rosemary oil
   20 ml base oil

Massage toward the heart using long deep strokes and maintain contact with the affected part until the oil is absorbed by the skin.

After the hike foot soak

Fill a basin with hot water (not boiling) water.
Add a drop of:
lavendar
peppermint
or
geranium

Soak feet and follow up with a foot massage.

Swollen feet and ankles from fluid retention

Prepare a formula in advance of flight or long periods or sitting

1 drop eucalyptus oil
1 drop lavendar oil
  10 ml base oil

Spread oil over feet and massage in firmly.
 Remove excess with a tissue.

Use this prior to a hike to stimulate circulation and deodorize.

Body rub with insect repellent

Start the day with a refreshing body rub to help prepare for the day's events

   1 drop   eucalyptus oil
   2 drops lemongrass oil
   1 drop   peppermint oil
           20 ml base oil
If there is any left take it with you for use throughout the day

Bed bug prevention

Sprinkle a few drops of lavender or tea tree oil onto bedding to ensure a restful sleep and keep any bed bugs at bay

Anti-viral bath/shower formula

To build defences to infection:
     3 drops eucalyptus oil
     1 drop lavender oil
     1 drop tea tree oil
     2.5 ml base oil
